Frequently asked questions on Web Hosting
What is web hosting?
Web hosting is renting space and bandwidth through a company so that you are able to put your web site online.
What is diskspace?
Diskspace is the amount of space your website will occupy. HTML pages are usually very small, but images, scripts, and even databases take up large amounts of disk space.
What is bandwidth?
Bandwidth is the amount of data the server will allow your site to send in a month. It is measured in gigabytes. How come you don't offer unlimited bandwidth?
It is simply impossible for a company to offer unlimited space or bandwidth to use. Unlimited offerings are usually just an advertising gimmick. Look very closely to what is written in their terms of service (TOS). Often you will find arbitrary clauses embedded deep within the contract that negate the unlimited offering.
We already have our own domain name - what then?
We will transfer your domain name to point to our servers then host for you.
What if i dont have a domain name?
We will register one for you then host for it for you. All you need to do is choose a hosting plan that suits your requirements.
I need to upgrade my hosting plan. How much will it cost?
Not a dime. All you need to pay for is the difference in price between the two plans and we will upgrade to your new plan immediately.
